Eastern College Athletic Conference occurs as College Athletic Conference that competes in 35 men's & women's sports with 317 member institutions around NCAA Divisions I, 2 & Trio, ranging within location from either Maine to Northerly Carolina. A ECAC wwhen founded as a Home base for Eastern Intercollegiate Athletics around 1938. Inside 1983, a Eastern Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (EAIAW) was consolidated into a ECAC.
